Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for maintaining and growing your Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision business within your territory, contributing directly to UK & Ireland market share goals. Performance will be measured against targets across Net Trade Sales and PC-IOL sales. Success in this role will be driven through strong customer relationships, clinical insight, effective selling, and the intelligent use of data and analytics. Full product and sales training will be provided to support your development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Form part of a well‑established sales team, driving the objective of elevating the standard of eye health surgery through innovative technology in the ophthalmology space.
  • Manage a portfolio of NHS and private sector accounts across East London & Essex, aligned to business priorities and local market needs.
  • Partner with customers to support the evolving demands of modern cataract surgery, helping to deliver improved patient outcomes.
  • Work cross‑functionally internally with Marketing, Commercial Excellence and Clinical Services to drive success.
  • Develop customer relationships and people development; attend live cataract and lens replacement surgical procedures and provide expert product support and guidance to healthcare professionals.

  • Degree‑educated, with evidence of high personal achievement.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and build trust across a range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to execute in a sales environment, with a growth mindset and drive for results.
  • Patient‑centric approach, underpinned by high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Digitally confident, with the ability to interpret and leverage data insights.
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
