Senior Manager, Temperature Control & Transportation

Position available in multiple countries: United States (R-084919), Brazil (R-086496), Singapore (R-086505). Submit to the location that matches your preferred country.

Purpose

The role leads the Global Temperature & Transportation Control Support Center (TCSC), continuously improving quality, cost and time for De Puy Synthes product distribution.

Responsibilities include project oversight, temperature data analysis, supplier qualification, process standardization, and leadership of the TCSC team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and facilitate the global TCSC objectives and plans.
  • Act as the engineering expert for Global Temperature Control, ensuring alignment with good engineering practices.
  • Maintain liaison with internal and external stakeholders, acting independently on technical and business matters.
  • Develop policies and procedures and participate in the formulation of compliant policies.
  • Oversee implementation of projects using project management tools to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
  • Act as subject‑matter expert for collection, analysis and reporting of temperature data.
  • Provide leadership to team members, ensuring timelines and compliance goals are met.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and identify savings and customer satisfaction opportunities.
  • Partner with external suppliers to evaluate, qualify and deploy new temperature control and monitoring technologies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Qualify new suppliers of temperature control solutions and engage internal SMEs as needed.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and business unit partners to standardize temperature control processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum BA/BS in Engineering or related field; MA/MS/MBA preferred.
  • At least 8 years of related work experience.
  • In‑depth knowledge of temperature‑controlled transportation, distribution and storage.
  • Knowledge of c GMPs, international, federal and local regulations for medical device manufacturing, storage, transportation and distribution.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, performance and development of self and others.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of quality, compliance and accountability.
  • Global mindset and subject‑matter expertise.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally.
