The EMEA Commercial Education Trauma & Spine Lead plays a critical role in advancing clinical and commercial capabilities across the region. This leader will design and deliver impactful education strategies that enable healthcare professionals and commercial teams to effectively adopt innovative technologies and improve patient outcomes. The role offers the opportunity to shape regional education programs, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive measurable business impact through high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of EMEA commercial education strategies aligned to Trauma & Spine business priorities.
  • Design and implement education programs, including procedural training, product application, and clinical best practices for healthcare professionals and internal teams.
  • Partner with commercial, marketing, and medical affairs teams to identify educational gaps and deliver targeted training solutions.
  • Drive innovation in learning delivery, incorporating digital platforms and modern content approaches to enhance effectiveness and reach.
  • Oversee regional education initiatives, including symposia, workshops, and professional conferences to support product adoption and brand strategy.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program impact and continuously improve education outcomes.
  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and external partners to shape high-quality educational content.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to education teams, fostering capability building and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Ensure all education programs comply with regulatory and company standards, including on-label usage and governance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare, or related field).
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, or clinical qualification) preferred.
  • Significant experience in commercial education, medical education, or training within MedTech or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute education strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Strong understanding of professional medical education practices and healthcare learning environments.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional or regional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into program improvements.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, multi-country initiatives.
  • Preferred experience in orthopedics, trauma, or spine.
  • Experience working across EMEA markets in a matrix organization.
  • Familiarity with digital learning technologies and innovative training delivery methods.
  • Experience collaborating with KOLs and delivering external-facing education programs.
  • Strong business and financial acumen to align education investments with commercial outcomes.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members.
