We are searching for the best talent for the Commercial Quality Specialist role to be located in Leeds, UK.

As part of the Quality team, the Commercial Quality Specialist will be responsible for delivering key Commercial Quality processes, product complaints and Field Actions with precision, ownership, and compliance, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and customer trust across the LOC.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as SME for UK/Ireland product complaints and manage cases from intake through resolution.
  • Assess and manage complaint escalations, determining when to resolve locally or escalate to the Team Leader.
  • Lead and own all Field Action processes, including initiation, EMEA communications, and LOC stakeholder coordination.
  • Independently resolve local quality issues and escalate appropriately when necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement, simplification, and standardization within the QMS.
  • Promote a strong culture of compliance, quality, and customer focus across the organization.
  • Provide onboarding, refresher, and cross‑functional quality training, including to Junior CQ Specialists and Sales Teams.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate significant quality issues to senior management.
  • Support development and implementation of CAPAs to address and prevent non‑compliance risks.
  • Contribute to quality, compliance, and regulatory projects while ensuring timely, consistent completion of all activities.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • GCSEs or GCEs, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent UK secondary education.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance or Commercial Quality within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or healthcare industries.
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements including GDP, MHRA expectations, and ISO/QMS principles is an advantage.
  • Experience working with QMS platforms (e.g., TrackWise, Veeva, EtQ) is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
  • Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently with internal partners.
  • Good System & Computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, J&J systems).
