Location: Field Based – South West England and South Wales
Purpose of the role: To clinically promote J&J Cancer Therapy medicines across prioritised Integrated Care Systems and Cancer Alliance footprints ensuring optimised appropriate patient access.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the business plan for implementation within NHS Trusts and other defined local accounts as agreed with Business Leaders.
- Deliver specific tactics in hospital trusts to support local uptake of medicines in agreement with Healthcare Partnership Manager and National Sales Manager.
- Clinically promote J&J Cancer medicines in wider parts of Integrated Care System to ensure patient uptake and access to medicines is optimised.
- Develop a detailed understanding of NHS Trust health priorities, local NHS Trust Pathways, and inter‑connectivity of patient journeys to inform effective business planning and customer engagement.
- Drive clinical demand for brands and defined indications through execution of brand strategy and key tactics.
- Deliver assertive, balanced clinical arguments to challenge behaviours/status‑quo to influence clinicians to drive prescribing behavioural change.
- Lead sales tactics to deliver the plan and complement the wider cross‑functional team approach to accelerate uptake and pull‑through of prescriptions.
- Drive clinical uptake through a prioritised approach in assigned NHS Trusts.
- Deliver appropriate HCP training and education, always aligning with J&J codes of conduct and the ABPI Code of practice.
- Develop local prescribing advocates and maintain expert level therapy knowledge.
- Deliver vital value service messaging on package deal specifications if appropriate.
- Operate effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to demonstrate the total system value of the brand.
- Maximise short‑ and long‑term sales performance, placing the patient at the centre of all efforts.
- Deliver against allocated sales targets, brand metrics, financial targets and marketing objectives.
- Identify, develop, and maintain disease‑state experts and speakers/advocates to improve brand performance.
- Proactively source market intelligence and insights, sharing them regularly with brand teams.
- Demonstrate understanding of customer preference mapping, persona development, and digital offering.
