Role OverviewJohnson & Jónson is recruiting for a Senior Medical Advisor for Haematology. In this role, based at our High Wycombe office, you will report to the UK Medical Lead – Haematology, and will be a key member of the cross‐functional therapy area team involved in the delivery of value through medical input and leadership to strategy and activities for the benefit of patients and healthcare professionals! We are spearheading a new era for haematology, dedicated to addressing and solving some of the most important unmet medical needs across the entire patient pathway. Key Responsibilities
Maintain awareness of the latest scientific and clinical advances in Haematology through active engagement with key clinicians and academics
Build a detailed understanding of NHS dynamics impacting the therapy area, including NHS priorities and market access issues or barriers
Contribute to the local evidence generation plan for aligned asset(s), identify data gaps and propose approaches to address them
Involvement in the development of the medical affairs strategy in the Haematology therapy area
Support delivery of the medical plan, taking the lead on projects of increasing complexity as agreed with the Medical Lead
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing medical expertise on Health Technology Appraisal submission(s)
Review of materials/activities as a final signatory
Qualifications
GMC registered physician, PhD or UK‐registered pharmacist
Required Experience and Skills
Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Good understanding of ABPI Code of Practice
Ability to learn quickly, build and maintain relationships
Strong project management skills and demonstrated experiences in leading medical/scientific programmes with a high degree of autonomy
Skilled at communicating medical/scientific information to a wide range of expert and non-expert audiences
Preferred Experience and Skills
Experience in Haematology and cellular therapies
ABPI code final signatory status
Experience in supporting HTA submissions
