Johnson & Johnson MedTech | Vision is seeking an ACUVUE Account Manager to support the South Yorkshire region on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Purpose of the role

As ACUVUE Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming patient care by empowering optometrists and optical retailers to grow with the innovative ACUVUE portfolio. Through face-to-face interactions and strategic engagement, you will build strong business relationships with independent opticians, regional chains, and national retailers, driving revenue growth and product adoption.

What to expect:

  • Effective territory planning and preparation using available sales and share data.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date product and clinical knowledge of the ACUVUE portfolio.
  • Convince business decision makers and eye care practitioners of the clinical and commercial superiority of the ACUVUE range of products.
  • Manage overall account management of customers on the territory, understanding customer needs and resolving complaints.
  • Monitor the sales performance of all customers within the territory.
  • Implement marketing and category initiatives throughout the customer base.
  • Identify and partner with key customers for joint activities to drive growth.
  • Maximize customer experience in promoting J&J Vision Care and the ACUVUE Brand.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry, marketplace, customers, and competitors.
  • Attend all Regional, National, and European Sales meetings as required.

  • Experience within an external field sales role in a customer-focused environment.
  • Proven track record for achieving targets.
  • Ability to influence and persuade through interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient presenter/communicator.
  • Ability to build sustainable business partnerships.
  • Capable of working independently with self-motivation.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Understanding of CRM systems.
  • Experience in the optical industry.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with a business or science background.
