Johnson Fold Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to provide support for pupils with ASD and ADHD. The successful candidate will have a positive nurturing approach working with children who have emotional and behavioural differences and challenging behaviour.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience of working with children with EBD and challenging behaviour
- Experience of working with children who have SEN throughout the primary school range
- A caring and professional attitude with an ability to work well within a team
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and a willingness to learn
- A calm and nurturing personality
- An understanding of the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
Desirable Qualifications
- An EBD qualification
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
