Working location: Asia (Open to international applicants—visa sponsorship provided for qualifying candidates).

Reporting to Head of Product Line, the position will expand global customer base and products offering in specific segment for the Automotive Products Group and formulate strategic plans.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Business Growth and P&L Management: Create, develop, and drive business growth and P&L for the Motor Drive business segment. The segment products include Electrical Water Pump, Seat motor, EPS motor, EPB motor Powertrain and Thermal Management System.
  • Business Leadership and Relationship: Consolidate requirements to develop product roadmap and pipeline of new business in consultation with engineering teams. Collaborate with project teams to realize the roadmap and execute plan on awarded program. Set up customer network and build up strong ties with them. Review with customers regularly to ensure deliverables are on time.
  • Customer Analysis and Pricing Strategy: Analyze our existing and new customer bases to conclude business cases, understand purchase criteria, customer pain points, value creation, and identify customer expectations and decision-making factors. Develop cost structures and profit & loss statements for business cases to guide pricing strategies. Participate in commercial negotiation, such as pricing, incentive, service, and conditions to secure profitable business and manage P&L of assigned customer accounts.
  • Define Product Positioning: Define what constitutes our 'Right-to-Win' and 'Weak-to-Win' scenarios. Incorporate these insights into our product roadmap to leverage strengths and address weaknesses. Maintain alertness to competition by creating a list of players, supply chain dynamics, and conducting thorough pros and cons analysis. Understand competitors' strategies, behaviors, differentiation, and the impact on the market.

Our requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in business development, sales or key account management; global customers management exposure is preferred.
  • Possess engineering knowledge in either motor/actuator, or application engineering knowledge in automotive industry.
  • International work exposure would be advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
