Johnson Controls is looking for a Site Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a key static site in Teesside. About the Role

As a Site Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of on-site engineers and subcontractors, ensuring the effective delivery of mechanical fire suppression services across the site. You’ll oversee preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and remedial works on a range of fire detection and gas suppression systems, including:

  • Conventional and addressable fire detection systems
  • Networked and graphical fire alarm systems
  • Gas extinguishing systems (e.g., Argonite, CO₂, Inergen, Novec)
  • Mechanical fire suppression equipment and fire extinguishers

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support engineers and subcontractors on site
  • Deliver maintenance, servicing, and repair activities across fire detection and gas suppression systems
  • Assist with estimating, integrity testing, commissioning, and client training
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and manage site documentation
  • Conduct safety and quality audits, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards
  • Report near misses and H&S issues promptly
  • Maintain daily work diaries and provide weekly updates
