About the Role
We’re seeking a commercially driven Project Surveyor to lead the commercial success of high-value decarbonisation projects. Combining strong financial acumen with excellent client-facing skills, you’ll manage commercial risk, maximise profitability, and build trusted relationships that ensure successful project delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cost and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring financial performance and sustainability targets are met
- Produce accurate cost plans, forecasts, and budget reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Identify cost efficiencies that align with decarbonisation objectives
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Qualifications
Skills Essential
- Strong cost management, analytical capability, and attention to detail
- Solid commercial awareness and financial understanding
Desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Proactive, solutions focused mindset with a passion for sustainability
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS)
- Experience on decarbonisation or sustainability focused projects
