The Site Manager will be working as part of the Critical Environments, Johnson Controls Fire Suppression team on supervisory aspects of projects and people management.
As Site Manager you will report to the Operations Manager and Project Managers. The role includes specific focus on Health & Safety, time management, PPE, installation testing/inspection. Ensuring installations are installed to the relevant Suppression system standard as well as providing training & Tool Box talks to subcontract installation teams. The role will include responsibility for driving efficiency and meeting contractual programme dates.
You will be liaising with multiple internal and external departments to offer solutions and resolutions to projecting issues as well as ensuring deadlines and costs are not surpassed. Each project will have its own challenges for you to navigate through and you will need to utilize your technical expertise and networking skills to gather and use data.
How you will do it
To lead and drive a first class customer experience.
Drive efficiencies and productivity of site resources.
Responsible for all RAMS, PPE, tool box talks, and accident investigations.
Responsible for the accurate installation of fire protection systems using supplied drawings.
To manage the installation of suppression systems, including Sprinklers, Dry Risers, Wet Risers, Hose Reels and Hydrants, including their water supplies timely and effectively. Gas Suppression and Fire Detection systems.
To manage day-to day design issues with clients, M&E design teams, consultants, installers, local fire and water authorities, auditors and fire Insurers and report back to the Project Manager.

Responsible for planning, programming, critical path management. To ensure all site personnel conform to company EHS regulations
Appropriate experience in a customer facing environment
Demonstrate a successful track record of achievement
Preferable time served within a technical environment such as Fire Sprinkler Systems and/or Gas Suppression.
Must possess sound industry knowledge and have proven background through recognised apprenticeship or hold similar qualification.
Knowledge of the British Standard BSEN12845 and Factory Mutual regulations
Full clean driving licence is essential
Preferred to also possess LPCB Module 1 and Module 2 Qualifications.
