Site Manager – Fire Suppression (London)

Johnson Controls is a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings. Our Fire Suppression Contracts Group delivers high-quality sprinkler and water-based systems across commercial and residential projects. We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our sprinkler team and oversee projects across the London area.

What you will do

As a Site Manager, you will play a key supervisory role, reporting to Operations and Project Managers. You will be responsible for health and safety, time management, installation quality and site productivity, including conducting toolbox talks, inspections and testing to ensure compliance with sprinkler system standards.

You will manage site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule and within budget. The role involves collaboration with clients, design teams, consultants, local authorities, insurers and auditors, providing technical expertise and effective solutions.

How you will do it

  • Lead site operations to deliver first-class customer service
  • Drive productivity and efficiency of all resources
  • Oversee RAMS, PPE, toolbox talks and accident investigations
  • Manage installation of sprinkler and water-based systems (Sprinklers, Dry/Wet Risers, Hose Reels, Hydrants)
  • Ensure installations follow drawings and regulatory standards
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders on design issues, reporting to the Project Manager
  • Conduct system testing, fault finding, programming and critical path management
  • Ensure all site personnel comply with EHS regulations

What we look for

Required

  • Strong sprinkler system experience or equivalent
  • SMSTS and CSCS certification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred

  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • PASMA and IPAF certification
