We’re looking for a CCTV Service Engineer who can comfortably cover a regional patch running from Stockport down through Crewe and into Staffordshire. You’ll focus on system uptime, fast issue resolution, and preventative maintenance for CCTV and related security systems. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills and a customer‑focused approach.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to faults, performance issues, and service requests.
  • Complete preventative maintenance to maximise system reliability.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support and meet SLA metrics.
  • Assist store teams with user queries and best‑practice guidance.
  • Troubleshoot IP/analogue CCTV, NVRs, VMS platforms and basic networking.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and support service improvements.
  • Work with remote support teams and escalate issues when needed.
  • Act as the on‑site technical contact and maintain clear communication.
  • Keep accurate documentation and follow safety standards.
  • Take part in product and technical training.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience in CCTV service, technical support, or field engineering.
  • Knowledge of IP CCTV, networking basics, and VMS platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and customer‑facing experience.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable:

  • Experience with EAS systems.
  • Knowledge of RFID and retail security technologies.
  • Experience supporting multi‑site environments.
