As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee quantity surveying and commercial management across projects from contract award to completion. You’ll lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, taking responsibility for their commercial performance, and provide commercial and contractual advice to Sales and Projects teams. You’ll coach and develop your team, including apprentices, ensuring successful financial outcomes while mitigating company risk. Reporting to the Head of Commercial – UK&I, you’ll support our growth strategy and take ownership of major projects in your region.

How You Will Do It
You will manage change effectively, make confident decisions, and work comfortably with ambiguity. A key part of the role involves contract and account management for high-risk, high‑profile projects, ensuring timely and profitable negotiations on variations and final accounts. You’ll manage change processes, identify claims, calculate value entitlements, and ensure contracts are administered correctly. You’ll also provide ongoing commercial support to your team and act as an escalation point for clients.
What We Look For
- Min. 7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor on projects from £100k to £10m
- RICS accredited or working towards accreditation
- Extensive experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) environments
- Strong understanding of commercial and financial risk
- Proven ability to lead large commercial projects
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical details to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and independent decision-making
