Johnson Controls are seeking a skilled and proactive Chiller Service Technician to service, maintain, and commission air-cooled and water-cooled chillers across the Bristol region. This role is chiller-focused due to current customer needs and limited general air-conditioning work in the area.

What you will do:
As a Chiller Service Technician, you will provide technical expertise and high-quality customer service across the region. Responsibilities include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing air-cooled and water-cooled chillers (York and other major brands)
- Occasional work on associated HVAC equipment if required
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within agreed timeframes
- Completing clear and accurate service reports
- Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
What we look for:
Essential:
- Recognised HVAC qualification (min NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
- Proven experience working on chillers (air-cooled and/or water-cooled)
- F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
- Experience with major manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi, or Mitsubishi
- Strong electrical and controls diagnostic capability
- Ability to interpret technical documents (schematics, fluid diagrams, piping layouts, psychrometric charts)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive, proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3
- Experience across wider HVAC systems (DX, VRV, Split, AHU, ventilation)
