The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated New Business Telesales Team Leader to lead a high-performing telesales team focused on converting leads into new business opportunities and delivering tailored security solutions to customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, driving sales performance, and making a real impact in a fast-paced environment.

As a New Business Telesales Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead & Inspire
    • Manage, motivate and develop a team of telesales executives.
    • Drive performance against sales targets and KPIs.
    • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and team meetings.
    • Monitor call quality, conversion rates and pipeline activity.
  • Drive Sales Performance
    • Lead outbound sales campaigns focused on generating new business opportunities.
    • Work closely with Marketing and Sales Operations to maximise lead conversion.
    • Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
    • Support the team in achieving and exceeding conversion targets.
  • Coach & Develop Talent
    • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance sales skills.
    • Support objection handling, customer conversations and product knowledge development.
    • Help onboard and develop new starters, ensuring they quickly become successful.
  • Analyse & Improve
    • Monitor and report on key sales metrics including call volumes, lead quality and conversion rates.
    • Use CRM systems and reporting tools to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Drive continuous improvement through data-led decision making.
  • Collaborate Across the Business
    • Partner with Marketing to ensure lead-to-opportunity targets are achieved.
    • Share customer insights and market feedback with relevant stakeholders.
    • Build strong relationships across the wider business to support growth objectives.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance
    • Ensure all activities are conducted in line with company policies, GDPR and industry regulations.
    • Maintain exceptional standards of professionalism and customer service.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a telesales, outbound sales or sales leadership environment.
  • Strong people management, coaching and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot or similar platforms.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
