Join Johnson Controls as a Channel Sales Manager for BMS & Controls, covering Manchester and North of England. Reporting directly to the UK Sales Manager, Distribution for Controls, you’ll be part of a growing team driving sales across our indirect Branch Network. You’ll be responsible for expanding our market share through Channel partners, including System Integrators and Wholesalers, and delivering results across our BMS & Controls portfolio.

How You Will Do It:
You’ll develop and manage relationships with new and existing Channel partners, supporting them in identifying, qualifying and closing opportunities. You’ll position Johnson Controls as the go-to solution by leveraging your deep market knowledge and understanding of competitor strategies. Acting as a technical consultant, you’ll guide partners through integration of our Metasys and EasyIO BMS systems with legacy infrastructure, and work with end users and consultants to specify Johnson Controls products. You’ll also drive uptake of our peripherals—valves, actuators and sensors—across the channel. You’re a hunter—driven, strategic and self‑motivated. You thrive on building long‑term partnerships, managing multiple priorities and growing your territory through smart planning and consistent execution.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in BMS Controls
- Ability to design technical solutions and advise customers
- Proven track record in Smart & Integrated Building Solutions sales
- Results‑driven with a strong sales drive and hunter mindset
- Willingness to travel frequently across the territory
Preferred:
- Experience in Channel Sales
- Minimum 3 years working in the UK BMS & Controls market
- Established network of End‑user Clients, Consultants and Influencers
- Familiarity with Salesforce
