Are you an experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in CCTV and Access Controls? We’re looking for a talented professional to lead the design and delivery of cutting‑edge security solutions. How you will do it
As a Lead Design Engineer, you will:
- Design and deliver advanced CCTV and Access Control systems, including new builds and system upgrades.
- Support sales teams with technical input, conduct site surveys, and participate in system acceptance testing.
- Produce detailed schematics, parts lists, specifications, schedules, and wiring/equipment layouts.
- Perform technical calculations (e.g., network bandwidth, power, heat dissipation) and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with commissioning engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system setup—whether remotely, in‑office, or on‑site.
What we look for
- Proven experience in the Security industry, specifically with CCTV systems and Access Control.
- Strong knowledge of:
- IP and analogue CCTV components
- Access Control systems
- IP networking, copper, fibre, and wireless communications
- PC server/client architecture
- Familiarity with leading VMS and ACS platforms such as C-Cure, Lenel, Genetec, and Synergy.
- Bonus: Experience with Intruder, BMS systems, and legacy protocols (RS232, RS485).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
- A flexible, self‑motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple projects.
