POSITION: Level 3 Customer Support Administration Intern You will be working in the Technical Support and Training department which specializes in the support of security and video surveillance products for buildings. Our expert products include IP cameras, Network Video Recorders and Video Management Systems. With this combination of hardware and software, video and CCTV systems has never been more intuitive. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work as part of the Customer Support Team in supporting Johnson Controls business customers worldwide Build technical support resources in the format of documentation and videos for our Customer Support Portal website Develop E-Learning content for our Moodle platform using simulations and videos Develop and maintain the American Dynamics Support Portal website Provide technical support in Linux and Microsoft operating systems and applications Participate in conferences and customer demonstrations to showcase our products Install and configure hardware, software and related IT equipment and devices Upgrade and test customer equipment on customer sites ESSENTIAL QUALITIES: Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills Ability to communicate clearly and work optimally as part of a team Experience with Windows XP/7/10/11 or Linux Experience in working with customers A willingness to learn new skills and accept new challenges QUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED MAJOR: Applicants must be at undergraduate level, currently studying IT, software engineering or related degree LOCATION: Johnson Controls, 195 Airport Road West, Belfast, BT3 9ED DURATION: 12-month student placement
