We are seeking an exceptional UK Installation Director to lead one of the largest Fire & Security installation operations in Europe, responsible for delivering installation excellence across the UK and Ireland.

This is a highly visible executive leadership opportunity with responsibility for a business operation generating a multimillion annual revenue leading 7 Area Managers and influencing a workforce of approximately 350 colleagues across a national field organisation.

The Opportunity: As UK Installation Director, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of our Installation business, ensuring we deliver outstanding customer outcomes, exceptional operational performance and sustainable profitable growth. Operating at the heart of our UK leadership team, you will drive a culture of accountability, pace, collaboration and continuous improvement whilst leading a large-scale installation operation responsible for thousands of customer projects each year.

This role is ideal for a commercially astute operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for developing high-performing teams and is motivated by the challenge of leading a business of significant scale and complexity.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Strategic Leadership: Setting the strategic direction for the UK Installation organisation. Driving execution against business objectives and growth plans. Supporting the continued evolution of one of Europe's largest Fire & Security installation operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Leading a high-volume installation operation delivering approximately $12m of customer work per month. Ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest standards. Driving planning, productivity and operational efficiency improvements. Enhancing customer experience through operational excellence.
  • Commercial Leadership: Full ownership of a circa $131m P&L. Delivering revenue, margin, EBIT and working capital objectives. Driving cost management and operational performance improvement initiatives. Partnering closely with Sales and Finance leadership teams.
  • Leadership & People Development: Leading 7 Area Managers and approximately 350 indirect reports. Building a high-performing, highly engaged culture. Developing future leaders through coaching, mentoring and succession planning. Driving accountability whilst empowering teams to make decisions and deliver results.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships with strategic customers. Acting as a senior leader across key customer partnerships. Collaborating closely with Sales, Service, Finance, General Managers and Central Functions.

Who We're Looking For: You will be an accomplished operational leader with significant experience within the Fire & Security sector and a proven track record of delivering results through large, geographically dispersed teams.

Essential Experience:

  • Senior leadership experience within Fire & Security.
  • Significant installation, operations or project delivery leadership experience.
  • Proven P&L accountability of $50m+.
  • Experience leading large field-based organisations.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated success driving transformation and operational improvement.
  • Experience working within complex or matrix organisations.
