What you will do
Our Industrial Refrigeration (IREF) division delivers project, maintenance, and service solutions supporting manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing. We are the OEM for SABROE, Frick Compressors, and York products, with trained engineers nationwide providing planned, preventative, and reactive services. Our target markets include meat, poultry, food and beverage manufacturing, leisure, pharmaceutical, automotive, and general industry.

How you will do it
As the clients main contact for technical service and maintenance, youll troubleshoot and resolve industrial refrigeration/chiller systems within set timeframes and service agreements. Youll perform PPMs per contract, clearly communicate findings, and recommend improvements or upgrades. This mobile role (MondayFriday, standby 1 in 5) includes preparing detailed technical reports for the Service Coordinator and client. Health and safety is a priority. While often working independently, youll be part of a collaborative team.

What we look for

  • F-GAS 2079 card and ammonia handling certification
  • Refrigeration apprenticeship and recognised qualification (e.g. C&G) preferred
  • Experience with HFC, ammonia, CO2 systems and manufacturers like SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, Howden
  • Knowledge of DX, pumped, flooded, multistage systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to interpret technical documents (electrical/fluid schemes, piping/psychrometric diagrams)
  • Capable of working independently with a proactive, team-oriented attitude
