What you will do
Hitachi Cooling and Heating Solutions UK&IRE are focusing on the growth of the business and looking for a sales manager to create long-term trusting relationships with our customers. This will be through the development of close relationships with our trusted distribution partners and their customers. The primary role is to drive sales of our product portfolio with strong emphasis on RAC, PAC and residential & Commercial Heating systems.
This is a national role to cover the area from Brighton to Derby. The candidate should be prepared to travel to ensure the coverage of the region for the company.

How you will do it
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management requirements
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Provide design and application advice to customers promoting energy efficient solutions for their projects
- Work closely with customers to negotiate contracts / projects and close agreements to maximise profits
- Develop new business opportunities with existing clients and / or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) via Salesforce
- A proactive introduction of our product portfolio in order to assist in the decision-making process for clients
- Present to customers covering the features and benefits of our product portfolio, CPD’s and other subjects such as legislation requirements
What we look for
Required
- At least 4 years technical experience is essential with HVAC (knowledge of Hitachi HVAC offering and or competitors is preferable)
- Design and application experience in air conditioning, chillers, heating and control systems with the ability to guide clients through design concepts as necessary
- Knowledge and understanding of current legislation
- Experience of presenting on both power point and system training to customers
- Technical competence in system design
- An ability to multitask several client requests at the same time.
