You will play a key role in optimising the production capability of one of our major manufacturing sites producing foam and gas suppression systems used worldwide. This is a hands-on manufacturing engineering role focused on improving efficiency, reducing cost and enhancing quality across production operations. You will work closely with production, engineering and supply chain teams in an office- and site-based environment to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

How You Will Do It
- Plan, manage and review production plans to meet output, cost and quality objectives
- Monitor expenditure and forecast resource and production capacity requirements
- Optimise manufacturing layouts for assembly and materials handling
- Design and improve manufacturing processes, equipment and machine utilisation
- Plan and sequence manufacturing operations to improve flow and efficiency
- Provide guidance and input into engineering design concepts for manufacturability
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma / DMAIC methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality, cost and productivity improvements
What We Are Looking For
- HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
- Computer literate with a practical, data-driven mindset
- Proactive, driven and confident with a strong work ethic
- Flexible and adaptable to meet changing business needs
