Johnson Controls are seeking a skilled and proactive Chiller Service Technician to service, maintain, and commission air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers across the Bristol region. This role is chiller‑focused due to current customer needs and limited general air‑conditioning work in the area.

What you will do:
As a Chiller Service Technician, you will provide technical expertise and high‑quality customer service across the region. Responsibilities include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers (York and other major brands)
- Occasional work on associated HVAC equipment if required
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within agreed timeframes
- Completing clear and accurate service reports
- Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
What we look for:
Essential:
- Recognised HVAC qualification (min NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
- Proven experience working on chillers (air‑cooled and/or water‑cooled)
- F‑GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
- Experience with major manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi, or Mitsubishi
- Strong electrical and controls diagnostic capability
- Ability to interpret technical documents (schematics, fluid diagrams, piping layouts, psychrometric charts)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive, proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3
- Experience across wider HVAC systems (DX, VRV, Split, AHU, ventilation)
