We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our UK Sales team. Reporting to the Territory Sales Director, this newly created role is strategic in nature, focused on delivering technical expertise and supporting targeted demand creation across the UK and Ireland.
You will act as a technical authority and advocate for fire protection, using your in-depth knowledge of our portfolio—including Sprinklers, Watermist, Gas Suppression, and Foam systems—to support customers, answer technical queries, and drive specification with consultants, contractors, and end users. As part of a high-performing Sales team, you will play a key role in supporting business growth across the region.
How You Will Do It
- Provide technical field support alongside Sales Account Managers
- Deliver system design support and engineering input for typical solutions
- Promote fire suppression solutions through technical presentations, training, and industry events
- Identify and develop new business opportunities using your market knowledge
- Build influential relationships to drive product specification
- Generate and qualify leads, maintain CRM activity, and support sales conversions

What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in the fire suppression industry (essential)
- Background in technical sales or specification-led roles
- Strong technical knowledge of suppression systems, codes, and standards
- Ability to work autonomously with a proactive, results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland
Preferred:
- B2B sales experience
- Experience with SprinkCAD and/or AutoCAD
- Degree in Fire Engineering
