Executive Director, Global Product Management – Industrial Refrigeration
We are seeking an accomplished Executive Director, Global Product Management – Industrial Refrigeration to lead the global strategy, portfolio governance, and lifecycle performance of our Industrial Refrigeration product domain.
This executive leader will be responsible for defining where we compete, what we build, how we create customer value, and how our portfolio performs across its entire lifecycle.
This role serves as the enterprise leader for product strategy, portfolio investment decisions, customer value creation, and global alignment across product management, engineering, commercial, operations, finance, and digital functions.
The Executive Director will establish and execute a long‑term vision for the Industrial Refrigeration portfolio while balancing growth, profitability, customer outcomes, innovation, and capital efficiency.
This leader will drive disciplined portfolio management, strengthen customer‑centric decision‑making, and ensure successful regional execution within a globally aligned product strategy.
What You Will Do
- Global Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Own the end‑to‑end global product and portfolio strategy for the Industrial Refrigeration domain.
- Define market positioning, target customer segments, priority applications, and differentiated value propositions.
- Develop and execute multi‑year product and technology roadmaps aligned with enterprise growth objectives.
- Lead strategic portfolio decisions including investment prioritization, platform strategy, lifecycle planning, and product rationalization.
- Drive business case development and ensure accountability for portfolio financial performance, including growth, margin, and capital efficiency.
- Lead make‑versus‑buy, ecosystem, partnership, and platform decisions across hardware, software, digital, and service offerings.
- Customer & Market Leadership
- Establish a robust Voice of Customer (Vo C) framework leveraging customer councils, field feedback, service insights, win/loss analysis, and channel input.
- Develop deep understanding of customer needs related to reliability, efficiency, sustainability, performance, and total cost of ownership.
- Translate customer and market insights into actionable product strategies and differentiated offerings.
- Maintain a fact‑based understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, installed base trends, and emerging technologies.
- Engage directly with customers, partners, and regional teams to validate market needs and shape future portfolio direction.
- Portfolio Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Own portfolio health across introduction, growth, sustainment, and end‑of‑life phases.

- Lead lifecycle management initiatives that improve product profitability, quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

- Serve as the enterprise integrator across Product Management, Engineering, Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Digital functions.

- Partner closely with commercial leaders to develop global channel strategies while enabling appropriate regional flexibility.
- Lead strategic new product introduction (NPI) programs and major growth initiatives.

Qualifications
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in product management, portfolio strategy, business leadership, or general management.
- Demonstrated success leading complex global product portfolios in matrixed organizations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing portfolio economics, investment decisions, and growth strategies.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and align cross‑functional stakeholders around strategic priorities.
- Experience driving organizational transformation, change management, and business growth.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
- Preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or equivalent).
- Deep expertise within Industrial Refrigeration, HVAC‑R, industrial equipment, engineered systems, controls, automation, or related sectors.
