What You’ll Be Up To: You will join the design department that specializes in creating fire and security systems for industrial, commercial, and residential markets. An experienced design engineer will guide you, teaching you the fundamentals of design engineering. You will familiarise yourself with tools like AutoCAD, Revit 3D modelling, and other design-specific software to gain direct experience in system design. This apprenticeship is a highly technical role where you’ll create detailed designs and calculations for various fire and security systems, complying with industry and legislative standards. You will visit client locations, collaborate with colleagues to conduct surveys, and develop design plans based on the gathered information. This role will require travel to clients on a national basis occasionally. The company will cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and meals.
