We’re hiring a Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer for a static role at a key site in Teesside. You’ll join a team of on-site engineers delivering mechanical fire suppression services in a highly regulated environment. Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service are essential. You’ll adapt to client needs and ensure high standards of safety, reliability, and communication.

How You Will Do It
- Deliver mechanical fire suppression and detection tasks on-site
- Undertake training for site-specific operations
- Occasionally support electrical, gaseous & passive fire systems
- Liaise daily with the client for permits and instructions
- Participate in the on-call rota (site-only)
- Perform maintenance, commissioning, witness testing, and training
- Report H&S issues or near-misses immediately
- Complete documentation accurately and promptly
- Adhere to all health & safety standards and promote company culture
What We Look For
- +2 years Mechanical fire suppression experience essential
- Experience on regulated sites preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Full UK driving license required
- Knowledge of passive fire protection desirable
- Willingness to travel for training when needed
