We’re hiring a Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer for a static role at a key site in Teesside. You’ll join a team of on-site engineers delivering mechanical fire suppression services in a highly regulated environment. How You Will Do It

  • Deliver mechanical fire suppression and detection tasks on-site
  • Undertake training for site-specific operations
  • Occasionally support electrical, gaseous & passive fire systems
  • Liaise daily with the client for permits and instructions
  • Participate in the on-call rota (site-only)
  • Perform maintenance, commissioning, witness testing, and training
  • Report H&S issues or near-misses immediately
  • Complete documentation accurately and promptly
  • Adhere to all health & safety standards and promote company culture

What We Look For

  • +2 years Mechanical fire suppression experience essential
  • Experience on regulated sites preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Full UK driving license required
  • Knowledge of passive fire protection desirable
  • Willingness to travel for training when needed
