This exciting opportunity is based in Dublin, Ireland, and the successful candidate will be expected to work in the office 2–3 days per week. Candidates located outside Dublin or Ireland will be required to relocate.

This position is responsible for managing our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, which integrates people, processes, and technologies across the enterprise. It supports all PLM users within the Applied business unit, conducts ongoing training, and helps facilitate PLM tasks across functional departments.

The candidate will play a key role in continuously helping to achieve a higher level of PLM maturity by keeping current with new releases and functionalities of the software. This position requires both a tactical approach to the PLM system and process applications, as well as strategic insight to integrate people and processes to evolve and enhance the user experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with transition to PLM and act as change agent for the Applied business unit.
  • Assist global teams with the preparation of data prior to migration to Windchill PLM, by assessing the current landscape of our current PDM system and developing a migration strategy.
  • Serve as technical lead within the Applied organisation for all PLM related activities.
  • Represent the Applied organisation in enterprise-wide best business practices.
  • Develop training plan for initial launch of PLM for all users within JCI Applied business unit and provide continuous training for new functionalities.
  • Work with each of the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to determine the current and future PLM requirements.
  • Monitor development within the industry and propose future changes to the PLM platform based on developments within the software or updates in industry practices.

What we look for:

  • 5-10 years’ experience and strong familiarity with Windchill PLM.
  • Experience in leading deployment of PLM in a large multi-national organisation.
  • Experience with engineering change management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience with 3D Modeling software (Creo, Solidworks, Inventor) is required; Creo is preferred.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) is strongly preferred.
  • Data mining capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, ability to present.
  • Extraordinary organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and follow through on all work.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organisation.
  • Microsoft Office applications proficiency is preferred.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time.
