As a Field-Based Doors Engineer, you’ll service, install, and repair door systems across the UK. You’ll work in diverse environments—schools, retail spaces, warehouses, manufacturing sites, and residential buildings—ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes. You’ll contribute to our Zero Harm culture and support team performance through technical excellence and excellent customer service.
What You Will Do:
- Service, install, repair, and fault-find on a range of door systems
- Apply risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices
- Use electrical knowledge to support diagnostics and repairs
- Complete service reports and handover documentation accurately
- Collaborate with planning and operations to manage workload and priorities
- Deliver a first-class customer experience through problem-solving and clear communication
- Participate in the Out-of-Hours (OOH) call-out rota as required

What We’re Looking For:
- Essential:
- Proven experience servicing, repairing, and installing door systems
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay overnight
- Familiarity with safe systems of work and PPE usage
- Preferred:
- Intermediate to advanced fault-finding and commissioning skills
- Health & Safety certifications (IPAF, PASMA, competency card)
- Electrical qualification
- Ability to read technical drawings and manage complex installations
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PDF) for reports
