About the Role
We’re looking for a CCTV Service Engineer based in Bristol to support customer sites across the region. You’ll focus on system uptime, fast issue resolution, and preventative maintenance for CCTV and related security systems. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills and a customer‑focused approach.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to faults, performance issues, and service requests.
- Complete preventative maintenance to maximise system reliability.
- Provide Level 2 technical support and meet SLA metrics.
- Assist store teams with user queries and best‑practice guidance.
- Troubleshoot IP/analogue CCTV, NVRs, VMS platforms and basic networking.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and support service improvements.
- Work with remote support teams and escalate issues when needed.
- Act as the on‑site technical contact and maintain clear communication.
- Keep accurate documentation and follow safety standards.
- Take part in product and technical training.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in CCTV service, technical support, or field engineering.
- Knowledge of IP CCTV, networking basics, and VMS platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and customer‑facing experience.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Desirable:
- Experience with EAS systems.
- Knowledge of RFID and retail security technologies.
- Experience supporting multi‑site environments.
