In this role, you will lead the commercial and contracts management function across the full contract lifecycle—from sales and bid stages through execution, closure, and handover to delivery teams. You will guide Sales and Pre-Delivery teams, ensure strong risk management, and provide high-quality commercial and contractual advice. A key part of the role will be coaching the pre-delivery team and supporting business leaders across a wide range of contract types.

You will work closely with Sales, Estimating, Design, Operations, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and legal risks.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the full contract lifecycle from sales to handover.
  • Develop and maintain contract management procedures aligned with company policies.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, contractual documents, and framework agreements.
  • Create and update standard agreements for customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Manage the Contract Specialists/Administrators team and oversee contractual risk reviews.
  • Provide training, guidance, and hands-on support to Sales and Operations.
  • Advise teams on contractual obligations and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support commercial delivery when required and provide direction on standard and non-standard contracts.
  • Prepare bid-related documentation, including T&Cs and cover letters.
  • Support insurance documentation requests for customers.
  • Act as the main liaison between Business Units, Legal, Finance, and Procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with DOA policies and procedures, including indemnities, liabilities, damages, and credit management.
  • Partner with Legal to draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including sales, teaming, master services, SaaS, SOWs, NDAs, and bespoke contracts.
What we look for:
  • 5–10 years of experience managing a multidisciplinary commercial/contracting team.
  • 15+ years of experience in contracts or commercial management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
