What You’ll Do at Work

- Hit the road in your own company van, visiting a variety of sites, from residential to commercial and retail locations.

Where You’ll Work
Mainly covering the Dorset area; however, you will be required to travel as far as Chichester and Reading depending on the job.

- Enrol in a Level 3 Fire Emergency and Security Systems Technician qualification delivered by Banham Academy alongside fellow Johnson Controls apprentices.

- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 5) essential.

Upon completing this apprenticeship, numerous internal opportunities within the company will be available to you. Many of our previous apprentices have advanced to lead engineers, managing their own teams and projects.

What’s Next?
Suitable candidates will be contacted via email to provide their evidence of required certifications. Once we receive the evidence of certification you will have a screening call with a recruiter to discuss the position. Afterward, you will be invited to an assessment centre, where you will participate in a practical assessment, meet the team, and have an interview.
Candidates will receive a response regarding the outcome of their application. If successful, they can expect to begin the apprenticeship with Johnson Controls in the late summer of 2025.
