HVAC Refrigeration Service Engineer (Mobile)

This is a mobile role where you’ll focus on the service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

What You’ll Do

  • Service, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Fault find on systems including AHUs, chillers, cold rooms, display cabinets, cellar cooling, and ice machines
  • Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Deliver first-time fixes where possible
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation
  • Build strong relationships with clients on-site
  • Participate in an on-call rota (with paid overtime standby)

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in HVAC and/or refrigeration service
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems
  • Background in hospitality, retail, or similar environments is beneficial
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role

Essential:

  • F-Gas certification
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Basic gas knowledge or qualifications
