What you will do
- As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects.
- You will join our Fire Suppression Design Team based in Sunbury-on-Thames.
- To ensure full training, onboarding, and support, the role will be office‑based for the first 6 months. After this period, hybrid working will be available subject to performance and agreement with your Design Manager.
- You will also attend occasional UK site visits for surveys, progress reviews, drawing mark‑ups, and client design meetings.

How you will do it
- Interpret and develop customer design requirements
- Ensure design schedules support approval, fabrication, and construction deadlines
- Work closely with sales and contract managers on specifications, installation requirements, and bracketing
- Complete Design Risk Assessments
- Maintain regular, clear communication with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover from sales through to completion
What we look for
- Required: Minimum 2 years’ experience with sprinkler/fire suppression systems
- AutoCAD
- Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Preferred: Experience with 3D Revit
