Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor with a strong fire alarm engineering background to oversee and support the delivery of fire alarm servicing, gas suppression systems, and mechanical suppression systems at a key static site in Teesside. This role is ideal for someone who is not only confident leading others but is also technically hands-on, able to carry out maintenance tasks themselves, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and service delivery.
About the Role
As the Site Supervisor, you will lead a team of on-site engineers and subcontractors while also completing your own planned and reactive maintenance tasks. You will ensure the effective delivery of all fire detection, gas suppression, and mechanical suppression services across the site. You will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, routine servicing, fault-finding, and remedial works on a range of systems, including:
- Conventional and addressable fire detection systems
- Networked and graphical fire alarm systems
- Gas extinguishing systems (e.g., Argonite, COâ‚‚, Inergen, Novec)
- Mechanical fire suppression equipment and fire extinguishers
You will act as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring smooth operations, strong client relationships, and full compliance with site-specific safety and quality standards.
