We have an exciting opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing site in Frome. You will support the maintenance team with daily duties, help drive total productive maintenance (TPM), and play a key role in keeping our plant running efficiently. This is a rotating 3‑shift pattern (42 hours per week).
Shift Schedule:
- 6am–2pm (Tuesdays 4pm finish)
- 2pm–10pm (Wednesdays 12pm start)
- 10pm–6am (Sundays 8pm start)

What you will do:
- Support daily maintenance operations across a busy machining and manufacturing site
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance
- Build asset care plans and TPM schedules
- Work closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams
- Fault‑find on critical production equipment
- Plan, log and document all maintenance tasks
- Supervise subcontractors when required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and update equipment and asset documentation
- Support planned maintenance during shutdowns
What we look for:
- Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in maintenance, repairs and breakdowns
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics or PLCs (beneficial)
- Experience using CMMS systems
- Completed apprenticeship + 3 years’ experience
- IT literacy and strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently with a proactive, can‑do attitude
