Johnson Controls Frome is a high‑pressure diecasting foundry, manufacturing sprinkler frames for the global market. We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our team on a continental shift pattern. This is a hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment, where safety, quality, and teamwork are key to our success. You will work a 12‑hour continental shift pattern (4 on / 4 off, including night rotation).
What You Will Do
- Work as part of a shift team to manufacture components in line with the production plan
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Carry out checks to ensure product quality meets required standards
- Support smooth production flow by highlighting issues and helping reduce downtime
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
- Follow all site and group Environment, Health & Safety policies and procedures

- Work safely at all times, following training and site procedures
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors on shift
- Take responsibility for your own tasks while supporting the wider team
- Identify and report hazards, unsafe practices, or quality concerns
