What you will do
In this role, you’ll design and develop fire suppression systems—primarily deluge systems for transformer protection using HV, MV Tyco, and Wormald technologies. Working closely with Project Managers, you’ll produce detailed design drawings, review specifications, and ensure timely delivery of design packages. You’ll also support technical queries, liaise with clients, and help deliver innovative solutions that protect critical infrastructure.

How you will do it

Apply your expertise in mechanical fire protection design to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient solutions

Use AutoCAD to produce accurate design drawings; Revit knowledge is a plus and training is available

Perform or support hydraulic calculations (training provided if needed)

Coordinate pipework design with other services and ensure compliance with LPCB rules, BS EN 12845, and relevant NFPA standards

Design pipe supporting brackets and contribute to the development of gas suppression systems (training available if required)

Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication

Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
