What you will do

Our Integrated Security Solutions team are dedicated to delivering high quality service to our customers by providing service and commissioning support as required on CCTV, networks and integrated systems. We are looking for Service Engineers who have the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur. The role of the Service Engineer within our Integrated Security Solutions team is to provide service support on CCTV. Majority of your work will be based at one customer and the sites associated. You will be part of a larger team who support our technical teams whilst providing expert knowledge based around your install and service background.

How you will do it

As a Service Engineer you will provide excellent customer service for both internal and external customers. You will manage and establish relationships with key customers across the North London region. A key part of the role is to ensure customer satisfaction through servicing the appropriate devices, working safely and providing customer satisfaction. You will handle ambiguity well, make decisions and effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time. You will have excellent planning and technical skills within an integrated security environment. You will be required to work closely with the planning team to ensure your time is managed and jobs are prioritised correctly and effectively. You will be required to carry out reports, handover certificates and checklists as appropriate.

What we look for

  • Service Engineer experience within a background in CCTV.
  • Working knowledge of mainstream enterprise CCTV systems such as Genetec, Synectics, Milestone etc.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards with knowledge of IP technology and Analogue systems and have a logical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage both internal & external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Previous experience working in a customer facing environment.
  • Full and clean driving license.
  • Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
