What you will do:

Johnson Controls Security Products is a leading manufacturer of integrated access control and video management solutions. (CEM Systems, C-Cure 9000, American Dynamics, Exacq, Kantech, Illustra) Manufacturing the hardware and system software, JCI Security products portfolio of solutions is considered industry leading with a range of innovative products that provide more than security.

As a Business Development Manager – Vertical Markets, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with a focus on the finance sector. They will be achieved by forming strategic relationships with consultants, end-users and technology partners to increase new business sales for the JCI Security solutions.

How you will do it

  • Develop new sales opportunities for the JCI Security product range.

  • Work with Consultants and End Users to specify JCI solutions.

  • Manage inbound new business leads and work with sales to close.

  • Participate in and develop strong relations with industry bodies and with target verticals.

  • Maintain and update SFDC.

  • Attend trade events, including exhibitions, seminars, and corporate events, as required.

  • Submit timely reports and project updates as requested by senior management.

  • Management of client end-accounts as required.

  • Undertake other duties that may from time to time be allocated.

What we look for:

  • Degree educated in a Business or Technical related area or combination of education (HND, HNC) and/or extensive work-related experience.

  • Evidence of previous sales or business development experience, ideally with software sales or enterprise integrated security systems.

  • Ability to identify new opportunities and understand vertical landscape.

  • Proven record of consistently achieving sales targets.

  • Evidence of developing key customer relationships and new client development.

  • Full and current driving license essential.

  • Strong technical skills and understanding gained in similar technical environment.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communicational skills.

  • Evidence of strong IT Skills – MS office, Workday, Salesforce.

  • Evidence of strong presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
