What you will do

Join our Building Efficiency Division, delivering energy-efficient solutions to over a million customers globally. As a BMS Engineer , you’ll perform routine service and maintenance on Building Management Systems across key sites in London and the South . You’ll support stakeholders with BMS-related queries, identify small works opportunities, and may join the on-call rota for emergency callouts.

Who we’re looking for

We’re ideally looking for candidates with experience working on JCI's Metasys systems. However, if you’re a technically minded individual with hands‑on experience in HVAC systems —such as AHUs, FCUs, Chillers—and have worked with Trend, Tridium or any other BMS products , we encourage you to apply. We value a willingness to learn and are willing to offer an accelerated training program to the right individual, to help you to quickly become proficient across Johnson's controls products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine BMS PPM service visits and corrective small works
  • Respond to BMS-related callouts and support customer needs
  • Review site logbooks and address minor issues during visits
  • Produce clear and accurate service reports with upgrade or repair recommendations
  • Supervise subcontractors (e.g., electricians, panel manufacturers) on‑site
  • Modify and configure BMS software to meet client objectives
  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation reflecting system changes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in BMS & HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, chillers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Trend, Tridium, or Metasys systems preferred
  • Understanding of control panel wiring diagrams and MCC panels
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering
  • Knowledge of BMS networking topologies and communication protocols
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Clean UK driving license
