Reports to: VP GM Controls Europe
Position Overview: We are seeking a results‑oriented General Manager to drive our Controls business across UKI and the Nordics. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in introducing new products and solutions, opening new vertical markets, and scaling our Install and Service business from £50M to £80M (minimum 8% CAGR annually). You will expand our aftermarket services footprint and capabilities while collaborating closely with recent and future acquisitions. This position demands deep product and segment expertise, especially in high‑performance sectors such as data centers and airports, as well as a thorough understanding of engineering and solution delivery best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Controls line of business across UKI and the Nordics, reporting directly to the VP GM Controls Europe.
- Manage and mentor a team of four direct reports, driving high performance and professional growth.
- Introduce innovative products and solutions to the regional market, ensuring successful launches and market adoption.
- Identify and open new verticals, with an emphasis on strategic growth opportunities within high‑performance sectors (data centers, airports, etc.).
- Grow the Install and Service business from £50M to £80M, achieving at least 8% CAGR annually.
- Expand the footprint and capability of aftermarket services, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with teams from recent and future acquisitions to ensure seamless integration and maximized synergy.
- Utilize deep product and segment knowledge to influence strategy and decision‑making.

Qualifications:

- Deep product knowledge in building controls, automation, and related technologies.
- Commercial acumen with a track record of driving growth in install/service businesses.
- Experience expanding aftermarket services and integrating acquisitions.
