We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded global investment firm, seeking a detail-oriented and driven Private Credit Allocations Associate to join their growing Private Credit team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-to-mid career professional to take on a pivotal role in the accurate and compliant allocation of transactions across a variety of credit funds.

This role sits within the Private Credit Allocations team and plays a critical part in ensuring accurate transaction allocation and adherence to investor and fund-specific guidelines. The position supports the Head of Allocations, working closely with portfolio managers, treasury, operations, legal, and finance teams to ensure timely and precise fund allocations, reporting, and ongoing monitoring.

You will gain exposure to a broad range of private credit structures and develop strong insight into fund operations within a fast-paced and collaborative investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Allocation: Accurately allocate new, trade, and follow-on transactions across various credit funds in line with internal and investor-specific requirements.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all allocations meet regulatory and policy standards, assisting in the maintenance of robust compliance processes.
  • Investor Reporting: Support the fulfilment of reporting obligations and documentation requirements as outlined in fund agreements.
  • Data Management: Maintain high-integrity records to support audit, investor reporting, and internal controls.
  • Portfolio Reconciliation: Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure fund availability is accurately reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure transparency and consistency across fund allocations.
  • Process Development: Contribute to continuous improvement of allocation processes and system efficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fund allocations, operations, or a related area within financial services.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret legal and financial documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working across departments.
