This role offers exposure to complex, structured lending transactions in syndicated loans, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to step into an AVP-level position in a globally connected, collaborative banking environment.
Your Mission
As an AVP Loan Documentation Specialist, you will act as an operational subject matter expert, supporting the execution, documentation, and booking of lending transactions into LoanIQ across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve lending documentation, ensuring operational feasibility and compliance with internal procedures.
- Perform and approve consistency checks between legal documentation and credit approvals, providing final sign-off on key terms and conditions.
- Execute and approve credit limits within core banking systems, ensuring all regulatory and local requirements are met.
- Review risk mitigation documentation, including credit insurance and sub-/risk participations.
- Escalate transaction-related risks from both policy and regulatory perspectives.
- Develop procedures and booking methodologies for non-standard or complex transactions in collaboration with Front Office and Finance.
- Challenge existing processes to enhance controls, efficiency, and best practice.
- Participate in departmental and firm-wide projects and change initiatives.

Experience & Expertise
- Proven experience in banking or financial services, with exposure to syndicated loan markets.
- In-depth knowledge of loan documentation and the transaction lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of the credit approval process and LMA (Loan Market Association) standards.
