Our buyside client is seeking someone to join their Private Credit Operations team to cover maternity leave. The role will be either Analyst or Associate, dependent on the level and experience of the successful candidate. You will support Private Debt funds and cover the full trade lifecycle, from settlement and funding to reconciliations, compliance, and NAV support. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with exposure to high-impact operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade Lifecycle Management: Oversee investment settlement, funding, and cash liquidity.
  • Reconciliations: Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of positions and cash.
  • System Maintenance: Manage and update Wall Street Office (WSO) for amendments, waivers, corporate actions, and trade activity.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct asset-level analysis, including IRRs and MoMs.
  • Treasury Collaboration: Partner with Treasury on subscription lines and borrowing bases for leverage facilities.
  • Fund Accounting Support: Assist in closing monthly and quarterly NAVs.
  • Compliance & Onboarding: Ensure daily and monthly portfolio compliance and support the onboarding of new funds.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Work closely with the investment team on ad hoc requests and contribute to the firm’s change agenda.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in a similar operational role, with a background in Private debt, loan closing, loan agency, or loan servicing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with borrowing base calculations/leverage lines/subscription lines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in WSO or similar platform, with a front-to-back understanding of trade and position lifecycles.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally. Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results in a deadline-driven environment. Collaborative team player with exceptional planning and organisational skills.
