Our client, a leading international Bank, is seeking a highly skilled Loans Middle Office Vice President to join their Deal Execution team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a crucial role in loan execution, documentation, and operational oversight within a dynamic and well-established organisation.
Role Summary
This role requires a subject matter expert in loan documentation, with supervisory responsibility for day-to-day team operations. You will support the EMEA Front Office business departments, ensuring the smooth execution and control of loans. Key responsibilities include reviewing contractual documentation and ensuring accurate booking into LoanIQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an operational subject matter expert in loan documentation, ensuring alignment with credit terms.
- Supervise a team responsible for execution and control of transactions, providing leadership and development support.
- Ensure lending documentation adheres to credit applications and that all pre/post conditions are satisfied.
- Identify and escalate new product processes for review where necessary.
- Attend Front Office pipeline meetings to track deal progress and provide strategic execution insights.
- Oversee operational review and approval of lending documentation, ensuring alignment with systematic booking requirements.
- Review and approve credit application terms against lending documentation to prevent breaches.
- Ensure all Conditions Precedent are met before funding and drawdown.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align operational processes and documentation standards.
