A leading financial institution seeks a Senior Transaction Manager to oversee the Project Finance transactions as both facility and security agent. This role is due to growth and you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external partners, driving strategic initiatives and innovative solutions in a dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client & Transaction Management: Oversee the daily Transaction Management of high-risk Project Finance accounts, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • LMA Documentation & Compliance: Review, analyse, and coordinate with legal teams on finance document negotiations, risk monitoring, and compliance for assigned accounts.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with external parties (attorneys, financial advisors, service partners) to structure and close transactions efficiently.
  • Operational Excellence: Execute cash flows, fee billing, reporting, and tickler processing with precision, while identifying opportunities to enhance internal controls and client service models.
  • Client Interaction: Support sales efforts by preparing fee proposals, attending client meetings, and cultivating relationships to attract and retain business.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior team members in transaction execution and contribute to divisional projects, including product development and policy refinement.
  • Risk & Control: Maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk, escalate issues as needed, and ensure alignment with the institution's risk appetite.

Requirements:

  • Education/Experience: 5 years plus in a similar Loans Facility Agent TM role.
  • Technical Skills: Exposure to Project Finance and infrastructure transactions. Proficiency in IT systems, legal document analysis, and financial calculations. Strong understanding of corporate structures, relevant laws, and regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and brand-aligned environment.
