Join a leading global financial services group, where you'll play a crucial role in managing a diverse portfolio of Loans. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced loan operations professional to work at the heart of a dynamic team.

You will oversee the complete lifecycle of complex transactions across a variety of sectors, working alongside front office, risk, finance, and legal professionals to deliver seamless operational excellence.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the operational management of a varied loan portfolio, from pre-settlement through to maturity. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Transaction Management: Coordinate systems setup, settlement, and ongoing administration for bilateral and syndicated debt and equity positions.
  • Loan Administration: Execute primary and secondary loan settlement, booking, and day-to-day management within LoanIQ.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Navigate loan documentation to facilitate deal booking, funding, and cash flow management while ensuring adherence to risk management frameworks and procedures.
  • Operational Processing: Handle loan utilisations, rollovers, interest payments (cash and PIK), repayments, and prepayments with precision.
  • Covenant Management: Monitor and manage borrower covenants and information undertakings.
  • Trade Settlement: Process secondary loan trades both manually and via Clearpar.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Submit KYC requests and participate in conflicts checks across multiple internal teams.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years' Loans Administration hands-on experience.
  • Strong understanding of loan management principles and debt capital markets.

Technical Skills:

  • Excel proficiency and strong numerical aptitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret loan documentation.
